We use artificial intelligence tools as part of our editorial and content processes to help us produce more high-quality news and information for our audience.

We’re experimenting transparently with new tools to deliver more news and content without cutting staff. AI assists our staff with tasks such as research support, drafting outlines, summarizing information, fact-checking leads, and improving efficiency—always under human direction and final review.

Every piece of published content remains the responsibility of our human team. We require editorial oversight of AI-assisted work, apply the same standards of accuracy, fairness, and accountability that govern all of our journalism, and clearly disclose significant AI involvement when it materially affects the final product.

We will continue to evaluate these tools openly, share what we learn, and adjust our practices to ensure they strengthen—rather than replace—the skilled people who create our work.
