Sharon Mutual Sweep both road games against Freedom

After loosing two of their starters, the Freedom Lady Eagles were down to six players on their roster. A tough task for a group of girls was placed before them last night when Niki Wilson and the Sharon Mutual Trojans came to town. The Lady Trojans came away with a road win 61-24. Wilson was our Irwin Auto Company Player of the Game, scoring 16 Points in the 1st Quarter.

On the Boys side, it was an even tougher task for Coach Devon Thrash and the Freedom Eagles. With one player sick, that left him with 5 players total. The Eagles hung with the Trojans for a half but Cody Cottom had an great night shooting, hovering around the basket, gathering 29 points and a handfull of assists in leading the Trojans to a win 75-42. Cody Cottom was the Irwin Auto Company Player of the Game for the second time this season.

Added Note: Late in the Game, Donnie Smith fouled out of the game for the Freedom Eagles, leaving just 4 players on the court for Coach Devon Thrash. Coach Reece Lujan pulled one of his players to keep it fair, leaving just four players on the court for the remainder of the game.

A big thanks to all of our sponsors from Freedom and Sharon Mutual.
