Born 5/31/1973
Married 5/9/1995
Two kids: Trenton and Jakob
Being raised by my grandparents, I grew up listening
to the big band era bands like Glen Miller, Louis Armstrong,
Artie Shaw and others. They also introduced me to the
doo-wop music of the 50’s and bands like The Tokens, Dion,
Fats Domino and Little Richard. Then there was Elvis……
When I was 7 years old, my older brother brought home
this record that his friend loaned him. I remember hearing
the slow tolling of the bell and the sound of the guitar intro
played by Angus Young and thinking this was the greatest thing
ever. We must have listened to that record a thousand times
that weekend. From that moment on, my brother was my
source for great music and he came through time and time
again with bands like Dio, Twisted Sister and RATT. I also
have a love of pop, country, gospel, and red dirt music.
When I’m not at the radio station, you can usually find me at
Lane’s Motor Freight or at home watching football…..
Grendle and I are currently working on our
debut hip-hop/metal album which will feature our
smash hit “Chicken and Ass”……. Stay tuned.

Born: September 18th, 1978
Norman, Oklahoma
Born and raised in Norman, moved to Woodward
in March of 2010.

As a kid, I would alwats pretend to be a DJ on the radio,
recording radio stations on tape, then announcing each
song and talking between like I was on the radio.
This is my dream....Ididn't thhink dreams were possible, but
now I am a strong believer, in following my heart, and
anything is possible. I absolutely love what I do, and
wouldnt change it for anything.

I love all types of music. When the music hits you, you
feel no pain. My favorite bands are: NIRVANA, Red Hot
Chilli Peppers, Metallica, Sublime, Smashing Pumpkins,
Radiohead, Sick Puppies, Pearl Jam and so on.

Hobbies: I love anything that has to do with being outdoors.
Golf, camping, riding motorcycles, fishing, being on the
lake, swimming, just having a good time. "ALWAYS" I love
traveling and I love History. I love eating and working out,
riding horses, 4 wheelers, and dirt bikes. I am a movie fanatic
and love a good movie.

I have yet to skydive, but that is next on my list....

Dale "Medman" Whetstone
Born - September 22, 1965 in Liberal, KS
Lived in Woodward, OK since March, 1966
Began working at Q-102 in November, 1998
as board op for OU sports untill July of 1999
when a full time On Air position became available
becoming host of "The Noon Show" ,"The Afternoon
Traffic Jam" and "The Friday Night Rock Show".
A short time later the Friday night show was changed to
"The Friday Night Hard Drive" and the noon show
became "The All Request Noon Show". In 2005
Medman took over as host of the Q-102 Morning show
and polled the listeners for a new name. The Q Morning
Zoo won that title by flying colors and shortly after
Grendle became his partner in crime waking up and
irritating folks for the next 4 years (which to them
seemed like decades). On May 1st 2009 Medman
left CCI radio, lost in the wind and thought to never return.

Re-born October 4th, 2009 (TEN4)

After some life changing experiences Medman became
a born again Christian and he and his wife Wendy
(married January 27, 2010) and step daughter Makayla
are members of The First Assembly of God in Woodward.
In December of 2009 a vision of a new show came to
mind and was presented to the owners. On February
3rd, 2010 the brand new show "Purely Positive" hit
the airwaves. The show consitsts of 2 hours of Christian
and Positive rock and welcomes weekly guests (when
available) to discuss challenging issues that everyone
is facing today. ------ "I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO
EVERYONE OUT THERE WHO FOLLOWED ME ON THE
AIR AND STILL SUPPORTS WHAT I DO TODAY."

Sherre: Thank you for believing in me and never turning
me away. I consider you an amazing lady with guts and
a will to make things happen.

Bret: It's been great getting to know you and many thanks
for all you have done. Supporting this new show means more
to me than you know.

LD: I don't know where to begin and it's easy to tear up
when i think back on all the times you were there in heart
for me. The words you spoke will never be forgotten and I
will forever consider you a very special person and a true
friend in my life. You, young lady have been a major
inspiration on where I have decided to go with my spiritual
life. Thank you for everything!!

Sam: It seems that I have known you forever and although
we have had ups and downs you are still a kind heart and
soul! Thanks for all the help with the show and believing
in the new show!

Cass: You tell it like it is and never hold back but you have
a heart of gold and truely care about people. Your love for the
animal world shines from you and makes you who you are.
Thank you for all you have done.

Dan: Whippersnapper, I think you know what I think of you!!
Friends forever and don't hesitate to call if you ever need
anything!!

Thanks to all!

former chairman of Woodward Chamber of Commerce,
former President of Woodward Lions Club. I was a
public defender for many years. I ran the Houston Tenneco
Marathon in January, 1993 in under 4 hours.
Total wreck for the next month. I love to read. My favorite
authors include John Grisham, Clive Kussler, Tom Clancy,
David Baldacci and Scott Turrow. Over memorial Day
weekend, I read two books: Deliver Us From Evil by Baldacci
and John Grisham's newest anthem: Theodore Brown,
Kid Lawyer. A good book, better cigar and an okay
Chardonney are how I prefer to spend vacations
